Responsibilities

  • Design and develop elegant, intuitive front-end applications for desktop, laptop, tablet, and mobile devices.
  • Design extensible and scalable multi-threaded solutions while optimizing resource utilization, performance, and supportability.
  • Help define PHP and JavaScript frameworks for new features and refactoring legacy elements.
  • Work with a small engineering team in a focused, low-bureaucracy environment.

Requirements

  • At least 6 years of UI/UX development experience.
  • Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JSON.
  • Strong UX and design sensibilities.
  • Experience developing and maintaining complex web architectures using object-oriented PHP and JavaScript.
  • Proficiency with code versioning tools such as Bitbucket.
  • Experience integrating with REST APIs.
  • Proficiency in software design approaches and common UX patterns.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience configuring Apache, Node.js, and Nginx servers is a plus.
  • Experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel and CodeIgniter is a plus.
  • Strong database knowledge, including MySQL and MariaDB, is a plus.
  • Experience with AWS Framework is a plus.
