Responsibilities

  • Develop low-level firmware and software for microcontrollers.
  • Create reusable device drivers and integrate system-level features.
  • Architect changes to support an expanding codebase.
  • Debug and troubleshoot issues spanning electrical, firmware, and software boundaries.
  • Complete a 12-week in-person internship in summer 2027.

Requirements

  • Must be pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Must return to school after the internship to continue academic studies for at least one quarter or semester.
  • Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export-controlled information or facilities; U.S. clearance eligibility may be required depending on the program.
  • Solid C coding ability for embedded systems is preferred.
  • Experience with microcontroller integration, bare-metal or RTOS firmware, board bring-up, debugging, bus protocols, microcontroller cores, and tools such as JTAG, SWD, oscilloscopes, or logic analyzers is preferred.

Benefits

  • US hourly base salary range of $42-$50 per hour.
