Responsibilities

  • Build and own Shopify storefront integrations using the Admin API, webhooks, and checkout integration points.
  • Develop React interfaces for administration and configuration tools.
  • Design and implement .NET 8 Web API endpoints and services.
  • Integrate third-party APIs with authentication, rate-limit handling, retries, and error handling behind clean adapter layers.
  • Implement event-driven messaging with SNS/SQS, including idempotency and retries.
  • Keep customer-facing flows fast and resilient and align API contracts with the storefront partner.
  • Write unit, integration, and component tests.
  • Document APIs and integration flows and participate in code reviews, sprint ceremonies, and client technical sessions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of full-stack development experience.
  • Strong C# and .NET experience, including ASP.NET Core and .NET 6+.
  • Strong React and TypeScript experience.
  • Hands-on Shopify integration experience with the Admin API, GraphQL or REST, webhooks, and checkout integration.
  • Experience designing REST APIs with OpenAPI or Swagger.
  • Experience integrating third-party APIs, including authentication, rate limits, retries, and error handling.
  • Working knowledge of AWS Lambda, SQS/SNS, and ECS.
  • Knowledge of clean architecture, dependency injection, and DDD/CQRS concepts.
  • Testing experience across backend and frontend codebases.
  • Experience with Docker and CI/CD.
  • Excellent written and spoken English for daily client interaction.
  • Shipping or carrier API experience is preferred.
  • Shopify Plus, Hydrogen, or headless commerce experience is preferred.
  • Experience building admin UIs with Polaris, MUI, or similar component libraries is preferred.
  • Retail, e-commerce, or promotional products domain knowledge is preferred.
