Responsibilities

  • Standardize AWS infrastructure and build reusable Terraform modules and AWS CDK constructs.
  • Modernize shared CI/CD workflows and infrastructure automation.
  • Support cloud migrations, legacy infrastructure modernization, security improvements, and observability initiatives.
  • Own DNS management and the Cloudflare platform.
  • Troubleshoot DNS resolution, networking, proxies, IAM permissions, and production infrastructure issues through the developer support queue.
  • Help development teams design AWS architectures and select appropriate services.
  • Collaborate with Security and engineering teams to keep infrastructure reliable, secure, and developer-friendly.

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure and services, including IAM, networking, compute, and databases.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform and AWS CDK.
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
  • Experience troubleshooting cloud infrastructure, networking, and production issues.
  • Familiarity with observability, monitoring, and logging practices.
  • Ability to solve problems independently and collaborate with multiple engineering teams.
  • Nice-to-have: experience with Vercel or similar deployment platforms, Kubernetes, EKS, reusable infrastructure modules, developer self-service tooling, cloud migrations, legacy modernization, AWS cost optimization, and Agile environments.
