  • Bengaluru, India

Responsibilities

  • Build headless business logic and expose Amtech capabilities as MCP-described tools usable by people, AI agents, and automated jobs.
  • Build and maintain LLM orchestration layers and agent workflows using LangChain, LangGraph, and the Model Context Protocol.
  • Develop RAG pipelines and integrate model-agnostic providers through a common abstraction.
  • Build the Data Agent for governed, read-only access to on-premises customer data with approval gates and queryable audit trails.
  • Deliver agentic intelligence capabilities for scheduling, orders and customers, documentation and knowledge, forecasting, and KPIs.
  • Scale the reusable platform across product lines and partner with Forward Deployed Engineers embedded in product pods.
  • Deploy and monitor agents and inference endpoints on AWS while managing evaluations, observability, and cost controls.
  • Partner with Data Science, ML Engineering, and MLOps on classical ML production practices, deployment, monitoring, and retraining.
  • Set technical direction and review other engineers’ work as a senior technical reference point.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 4–6 years of software engineering experience, including at least 2 years building production systems with large language models.
  • Demonstrated experience setting technical direction and reviewing other engineers’ work without requiring formal people-management experience.
  • Strong Python programming skills and practical experience with prompt engineering, tool or function calling, and agent frameworks such as LangChain or LangGraph.
  • Experience integrating at least one major LLM provider API, including OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure OpenAI, or AWS Bedrock.
  • Hands-on AWS experience deploying and operating production workloads, including services such as Lambda, ECS/EKS, S3, IAM, and CloudWatch.
  • Experience with real-time and batch model inferencing, including latency, throughput, and cost optimization.
  • Experience building or consuming RAG pipelines and working with vector databases.
  • Working knowledge of classical ML engineering and MLOps practices, including feature stores, model registries, and model CI/CD.
  • Familiarity with Docker, containerized deployment, Git, and CI/CD practices.
  • Preferred experience with MCP or similar agent-tool standards, governed data-access layers, Kubernetes, AWS Bedrock, AWS SageMaker, industrial data environments, embedded product or customer-facing engineering, and monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
  • AWS certification is preferred but not required.

Benefits

  • Continuous learning, leadership development, and cross-portfolio career opportunities through Vista’s global network.
  • Collaborative, transparent, people-first culture with exposure to cross-portfolio learning programs, leadership workshops, and AI hackathons.
  • Opportunity to contribute to meaningful enterprise software, financial, manufacturing, and supply-chain modernization initiatives.
