Responsibilities

  • Design modular, scalable conversational AI and LLM solution blueprints for global customer-facing insurance services.
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications, technical requirements, and visual logic flows for development teams.
  • Redesign enterprise processes using generative AI while balancing cost, quality, and regulatory compliance.
  • Design structured knowledge bases and RAG infrastructures to make organisational data AI-ready.
  • Develop monitoring, KPI, testing, alerting, and simulation frameworks to measure and improve GenAI system performance, quality, and compliance.
  • Coordinate with operational units and international development teams to prioritise use cases and ensure coherent implementation and rollout.
  • Track developments in AI, LLM, NLP, and human-AI interaction and bring relevant ideas into the team.

Requirements

  • Degree in Computational Linguistics, Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML Engineering, or a comparable field.
  • Multiple years of experience in AI solution design, technical requirements engineering, conversational AI, or NLP.
  • Ability to work with complex data structures including SQL, semantic networks, and knowledge graphs and represent them visually.
  • Deep conceptual knowledge of LLMs, vector spaces, embeddings, NLU/NLG frameworks, NLP, speech recognition and synthesis, and language-model mechanisms.
  • Understanding of RAG architectures, knowledge-base design, and data-pipeline concepts, with hands-on generative AI and prompting experience.
  • Experience with analytics tools, testing frameworks, and preferably low-code conversational AI platforms such as Cognigy.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, ownership, organisation, and customer-focused solution-design skills.
  • Fluent English is required; German is strongly preferred, and Spanish, Italian, Dutch, or French are desirable.
  • Experience in insurance or financial services, computational linguistics, linguistics, or conversational UX design is advantageous.
