Responsibilities

Build and improve LLM-powered features and multi-step agentic workflows for invoices, receipts, expense reports, and card transactions.
Develop retrieval-augmented generation pipelines using chunking, embeddings, vector search, and re-ranking.
Implement function calling and API integrations with internal services and ERP/AP systems, producing validated JSON outputs.
Build evaluation datasets, metrics, and automated test suites covering accuracy, hallucination rate, latency, and cost.
Package and deploy models and services with Docker and CI/CD, including monitoring and logging for reliable production operation.
Collaborate with senior engineers, data scientists, and product managers on technical solutions, code reviews, and design discussions.

Requirements

1–3 years of experience building and deploying production AI/ML solutions, including at least one year of hands-on LLM application experience.
Strong Python skills and experience building clean, tested production code and REST APIs with tools such as FastAPI or Flask.
Hands-on experience with LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, or similar frameworks, plus LLM APIs or open-source models.
Practical experience building RAG pipelines with vector databases such as Pinecone, Milvus, pgvector, or FAISS.
Understanding of prompting techniques, structured outputs, and function calling for LLMs.
Solid ML and NLP fundamentals with working experience in PyTorch or a similar framework.
Working knowledge of Docker, Git, CI/CD, and deployment on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Experience with document AI, OCR, invoice or receipt extraction, finance, accounts payable, or expense data is preferred.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience with fine-tuning, including LoRA, and LLM observability tools such as LangSmith, Arize Phoenix, or Weights & Biases is preferred.
