AI/ML Engineer in USA new

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and monitor AI-driven solutions and intelligent business process automations.
  • Build and maintain AI agents, agent-enabled workflows, intelligent document processing capabilities, predictive analytics, and AI-enabled data products.
  • Integrate AI capabilities with enterprise applications, data platforms, APIs, and workflow systems using platforms such as Power Automate, Power Apps, and Copilot Studio.
  • Evaluate AI use cases, tools, machine learning and LLM platforms, pilots, and proof-of-concept initiatives for feasibility, value, risk, security, governance, and organizational fit.
  • Develop AI governance supplements, evaluation criteria, model performance metrics, risk controls, human-oversight mechanisms, and incident detection and response procedures.
  • Support solution delivery from intake and requirements assessment through design, prototyping, validation, security and governance review, production deployment, and post-deployment monitoring.
  • Develop Python-based AI/ML prototypes, integrations, evaluations, and automation components.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, cybersecurity teams, application developers, governance teams, stakeholders, and program leadership.
  • Create technical documentation, implementation guides, evaluation reports, demonstrations, workshops, training, and user-facing materials.

Requirements

  • Experience designing, developing, evaluating, or implementing AI/ML solutions.
  • Experience with responsible AI frameworks, governance, or risk-management practices.
  • Experience with Power Automate, Copilot Studio, or comparable AI and workflow automation platforms.
  • Proficiency in Python.
  • Experience integrating AI-enabled capabilities with APIs, data sources, and enterprise applications.
  • Experience evaluating, piloting, or deploying AI, machine learning, generative AI, or LLM-based tools in organizational environments.
  • Understanding of the AI/ML solution lifecycle, including requirements gathering, development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
  • Experience developing prototypes, proofs of concept, or production AI-enabled applications.
  • Familiarity with model evaluation, performance measurement, and monitoring approaches.
  • Ability to assess technical feasibility, business value, implementation complexity, and risk for AI use cases.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills, with experience working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Active Secret clearance.
  • Preferred qualifications include experience with DoD Responsible AI guidance, AI governance, generative AI, LLMs, AI agents, RAG, embeddings, semantic search, vector databases, intelligent document processing, Microsoft Fabric, Azure AI, Azure OpenAI, Power Platform, predictive analytics, model evaluation frameworks, guardrails, human-in-the-loop controls, AI observability, AI procurement, and federal, DoD, or education environments.
