Responsibilities

Design an end-to-end data pipeline supporting evidence management, synthesis, and generation.
Implement and automate publication search and deduplication strategies.
Integrate additional large language model workflows into the evidence management system.
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to develop the solution.
Present and interpret findings to teams across the organization.

Requirements

Be currently enrolled in and returning to an accredited degree-seeking program after the internship.
Be pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Demonstrate proficiency in Python, relational databases, and SQL.
Understand machine learning concepts and algorithms, systems thinking, and system design principles.
Demonstrate collaboration, communication, problem-solving, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
Preferred qualifications include experience with LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or Azure OpenAI, prompt engineering, structured outputs, agentic AI workflows, Snowflake ETL or data ingestion pipelines, NLP techniques, R, scikit-learn, statistical methods, systematic literature reviews, or meta-analysis.

Market-competitive compensation includes hourly base pay, benefits, and a housing allowance.
Summer 2027 internship is a fixed-term, full-time commitment of approximately 40 hours per week for 10–12 weeks beginning in May or June.
The internship is remote/hybrid with on-site meetings at least three times during the internship; the posting also states the job will be onsite weekly with the percentage defined by the leader.
