Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end delivery of AI/ML engineering solutions from design and build through production support.
Own architecture and technical strategy for scalable, secure batch and streaming data/AI platforms.
Design and build resilient, observable, and cost-efficient GCP data pipelines.
Implement MLOps capabilities including reproducible training, deployment, monitoring, rollback, automated testing, and delivery pipelines.
Develop production-grade GenAI solutions using LLMs, RAG, agentic and multi-agent patterns, orchestration frameworks, prompt engineering, and evaluation.
Build vector, hybrid search, indexing, metadata filtering, and graph database capabilities.
Optimize performance, throughput, latency, and cost using Redis and model evaluation metrics.
Drive coding standards, reviews, test coverage, documentation, SLOs, incident management, security-by-design, compliance, and data governance.
Influence engineering improvements and technical change across a complex organizational structure.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
Master’s degree preferred.
At least 6 years of software engineering experience focused on engineering practices and governance.
Proven experience in application architecture and data management.
Familiarity with AI technologies and their application in banking or financial services.
Technical proficiency in cloud computing, delivery pipelines, and the software development lifecycle.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to assess engineering practices and recommend improvements.
Ability to influence and drive change within a complex organization.
