Android Developer in Canada new

Responsibilities

  • Develop consumer and enterprise Android applications.
  • Write maintainable, testable, and performant software.
  • Participate in code reviews and perform extensive testing.
  • Research new technologies and tools and share findings with the team.
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with the software development team.

Requirements

  • Experience developing Android applications.
  • Strong command of programming and computer science concepts.
  • Understanding of end-to-end mobile application development and server-side interactions.
  • Knowledge of mobile UI implementation, common development frameworks, and REST APIs.
  • Working knowledge of modern Android development, Java and/or Kotlin, Android Jetpack, and MVVM or MVP design patterns.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Proactive approach and commitment to improving software development workflows and processes.
  • Experience with or understanding of ReactiveX frameworks, GraphQL, iOS development with Swift, or cross-platform development with React Native, Flutter, Ionic, Xamarin, or Cordova is preferred.
