Responsibilities

  • Develop applications for industrial drives.
  • Create test cases and ensure application testing.
  • Develop and maintain application software, including code, documentation, testing, and support.
  • Provide application support to customers.
  • Develop solutions and concepts in close collaboration with customers.
  • Share application solutions and know-how within the global OEM community.
  • Collaborate with the OEM hub team and drives factory R&D.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or a similar field.
  • Programming skills in Python, C/C++, and IEC 61131.
  • Understanding of physics, especially kinematics and mechanics.
  • Understanding of electrical design and ability to read schematics.
  • Willingness to travel internationally approximately 50 days per year.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal collaboration skills.
  • Motion application knowledge and understanding of fieldbus technologies are beneficial.
