Responsibilities

Conduct manual and automated security assessments of web and mobile applications.
Identify, evaluate, and remediate application security vulnerabilities.
Perform application penetration testing and provide reports with recommended remediation strategies.
Collaborate with development teams to integrate security practices into the application lifecycle and design security controls.
Contribute to application security incident response and investigations.
Ensure applications comply with security standards, regulations, and industry best practices.
Develop security training for development teams on secure coding practices.
Manage and configure security tools for continuous application security monitoring and analysis.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
Proven experience as an Application Security Specialist or in a similar role.
In-depth knowledge of application security principles, practices, and common vulnerabilities.
Hands-on experience with security testing tools and methodologies.
Familiarity with secure coding practices and application security frameworks.
Strong understanding of web application architecture and cloud-based environments.
OSCP, CEH, LPT, GPEN, CISSP, or equivalent certification is advantageous.
Analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and detail-oriented skills, plus knowledge of regulatory requirements related to application security.
