Responsibilities

  • Develop and support the organization’s DevSecOps and Application Security strategy.
  • Partner with engineering and application teams to operationalize DevSecOps principles, processes, and security best practices.
  • Assist teams with onboarding and integrating application-security tools and work with vendors to troubleshoot platform and integration issues.
  • Support security scanning and vulnerability triage for applications and GenAI models.
  • Produce security dashboards, metrics, documentation, and audit materials.
  • Continuously improve DevSecOps and application-security processes and tools.
  • Provide technical support and deliver tasks through project completion.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field.
  • 12–15 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience developing software with Java, .NET, Python, and Node.js.
  • Experience with cloud technologies including Azure and AWS.
  • Extensive application-security experience with SAST, DAST, SCA, and container-security scanning.
  • Current information-security certification such as CISSP, Security+, or another cybersecurity certification.
  • Experience with software development, SDLC, application-security tooling, modern CI/CD, and DevSecOps practices.
  • Experience with automation and orchestration tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and automation of deployment and management tasks in hybrid-cloud environments.
  • Experience with Agile and Scrum practices and the ability to influence development communities without formal authority.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects or priorities.
