Responsibilities

  • Design, create, configure, and deliver cloud infrastructure environments using automation best practices.
  • Automate cloud infrastructure builds, operational processes, the full SDLC lifecycle, and application and infrastructure-as-code workloads.
  • Assess technologies supporting automation and cloud migration.
  • Maintain, monitor, and improve production and non-production systems for performance, efficiency, and security.
  • Automate business continuity and disaster recovery processes.
  • Support containerized workloads and cloud monitoring and management systems.
  • Perform root cause analysis for service performance incidents.
  • Participate in a rotational 24x7 on-call schedule.

Requirements

  • Require 1–3 years of SRE/DevOps production operations experience in large-scale, Internet-facing infrastructure.
  • Require direct experience building cloud-based infrastructure solutions in AWS or GCP.
  • Require strong knowledge of Linux operating systems, including RHEL, CentOS, and Debian.
  • Require experience with CI/CD, application performance monitoring, alerting systems, scripting, containerized workloads, and cloud automation.
  • Require experience with Python and JavaScript, Docker, EKS, GKE, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, or Chef.
  • Require expertise with Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket, Jira, Prometheus, ELK, CloudWatch, and Stackdriver.
  • Prefer AWS/GCP or Solution Architecture certification experience.
  • Prefer experience with Agile processes, Scaled Agile Framework/SAFe, ITSM processes, and Jira JSM.
  • Require strong problem-solving, analytical, prioritization, multitasking, and communication skills.
  • Require a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
