Responsibilities

  • Define and lead software testing strategy, plans, test cases, and quality outcomes at the program or portfolio level.
  • Lead functional, regression, system, integration, load, performance, and latency testing for complex FX electronic trading applications.
  • Lead automation testing efforts and ensure enterprise feature, regression, and performance testing coverage requirements are met.
  • Assess and improve performance testing packs and evaluate migration from current regression tools to the strategic enterprise automation framework.
  • Analyze production stability, testing metrics, risks, and defects; lead root-cause analysis, defect triage, escalation, and mitigation planning.
  • Partner with development and stakeholder teams to improve monitoring and observability in QA and lower-lane environments.
  • Provide FX domain expertise, respond to business-functionality queries, and mentor, coach, and cross-train testing teams.
  • Drive the use of enterprise AI-assisted testing tools and strong prompt-engineering techniques throughout requirements capture, test planning, test-case creation, and execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
  • 12+ years of experience in software testing or business analysis involving FX front-office electronic trading applications.
  • At least five years of lead experience.
  • Deep subject-matter expertise in FX Spot, FX Forward, FX Swap, NDF, market data, venues, FX algorithms, electronic trading components, and market-making and agency-based workflows.
  • Understanding of distributed-system components including messaging, caching, multicast, and component integrations, and their testing implications.
  • Strong experience with functional, regression, load, performance, and latency testing, along with production and QA log interpretation.
  • Strong UNIX command knowledge and experience testing FX flows on multi-dealer platforms such as FxAll.
  • Experience with automation testing frameworks and methodologies, business-driven test-case development, and test-driven test development methodologies.
  • Basic understanding of C++ or Java.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD flows, related tools, AI-assisted testing tools, and prompt-engineering techniques.
  • Any certification related to Agile and functional testing is relevant.
