Responsibilities

  • Operate and tune data classification, sensitivity-labeling, and data loss prevention policies, investigate policy hits, reduce false positives, and automate reporting.
  • Design, build, and operate Jira and Jira Service Management workflows for risk acceptance, security exceptions, remediation tracking, and DLP follow-up.
  • Automate the flow of security findings into ticketing workflows with asset-owner and criticality enrichment using APIs and scripting.
  • Build AI-assisted CTEM automation for vulnerability triage, prioritization, coverage reporting, and remediation dashboards across security tooling such as Tenable.
  • Create scripted pipelines to collect and validate compliance evidence and raise tickets when controls drift.
  • Translate security needs into testable requirements and acceptance criteria, test delivered capabilities, and validate AI-assisted outputs before operational use.

Requirements

  • Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or an equivalent technical field of study.
  • Up to 3 years of experience in security operations, IT, or software engineering is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Python or PowerShell scripting and familiarity with APIs, JSON, and Git, demonstrated through work, internship, academic, or personal projects.
  • Strong foundation in security concepts including the CIA triad, vulnerability classes, and CVSS scoring limitations.
  • Experience using frontier AI models such as Anthropic or OpenAI for coding or analysis, with strong output-validation practices.
  • Strong data, process, documentation, communication, and cross-team coordination skills.
  • Preferred knowledge includes Microsoft 365 security and compliance tooling, Microsoft Graph API, data protection regulations, Tenable, Jira, Jira Service Management, Azure, AWS, GCP, SQL, KQL, or Linux.
  • CTF participation, entry-level security or cloud certifications, and security-team internship or project experience are valued.
