Responsibilities

Drive security findings, research mitigations, and analyze vulnerability-related information to remediate root causes.
Manage high-security events, communicate risks to AWS stakeholders, and escalate issues to drive mitigation.
Assess security risks, create solutions to security issues, and improve related technology or processes.
Produce progress reports, briefs, and white papers concerning security issues and AWS data center operations.
Coordinate with Amazon security and service teams and bring stakeholders together to address findings and risks.
Translate security mitigation plans into actionable items for technical teams, stakeholders, and leadership.
Manage email, phone, chat, and trouble-ticket communications while providing technical customer support.
Troubleshoot Windows and Linux operating systems, applications, and security issues.

Requirements

At least 2 years of software development or technical support experience.
Experience scripting in modern programming languages.
Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems.
Experience working nights, weekends, and extra hours as needed, including scheduled on-call coverage.
Knowledge of web services, distributed systems, and web application development preferred.
Experience troubleshooting and maintaining hardware and software RAID preferred.
Experience with REST web services, XML, and JSON preferred.

Salary: $75k - $131k/yr
