Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable data ingestion pipelines from APIs, databases, and streaming feeds into Azure Data Lake Storage.
Integrate Azure AI services, including Azure Machine Learning, into data transformation workflows for intelligent enrichment.
Optimize ETL/ELT processes for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
Collaborate with data scientists to produce datasets aligned with AI and machine learning model requirements.
Automate pipeline monitoring, error handling, and alerting through CI/CD integration.
Participate in architecture reviews and contribute to data governance, security, and compliance best practices.
Support full-stack software systems that provide data analytics and AI services, including front-end data visualizations, data ingestion, and document generation.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree and five or more years of related experience, or an additional four years of experience in lieu of the degree.
Experience building data pipelines and implementing Medallion architecture principles.
Experience integrating Azure AI services into data workflows.
Proficiency in Python, Bash, and JavaScript.
Proficiency designing front-end UI/UX.
Proficiency with graph-based architecture and software such as LangGraph.
Proficiency with containerization and cloud deployment.
Familiarity with GitLab CI/CD for data engineering.
Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance best practices.
Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.
Current U.S. citizenship.
