Responsibilities

Lead development of product features, experiments, technical initiatives, and complex backend systems.
Shape architecture decisions, provide technical leadership, and influence and coach distributed engineering teams.
Improve system architecture, software design, code quality, and engineering practices.
Drive agile and Scrum ways of working and collaborate with backend, client-side, and infrastructure teams.
Identify opportunities to improve products, development processes, team productivity, and effectiveness.
Write maintainable, high-quality code and influence technical decisions across the organization.

Requirements

10+ years of experience building performance-critical production applications using Java, Scala, or Kotlin.
Proven experience leading projects, technical initiatives, or engineering teams with full ownership of systems.
Hands-on experience with data platforms such as SQL, Cassandra, or Hadoop, including selecting appropriate data solutions.
Strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures, software development, coding, and software architecture.
Experience driving architectural decisions and improving team productivity through KPI-driven engineering practices.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with a commitment to software craftsmanship and continuous learning.
