Responsibilities

Design and implement server-side applications using Python.
Write complex SQL queries using Trino to gather analytics data from multiple sources.
Develop and maintain microservices for the platform.
Design and optimize relational and non-relational databases.
Integrate APIs with cross-functional teams and ensure smooth system functionality.
Write reusable code, conduct code reviews, and follow coding standards.
Develop end-to-end integration tests, troubleshoot backend issues, and debug systems.
Stay current with technologies and industry trends to support continuous improvement.

Requirements

English proficiency is required.
A BS degree in Computer Science or a similar technical area, or equivalent practical experience, is required.
2–4 years of experience as a software engineer or developer focused on backend development.
Proficiency in Python and strong experience with databases, SQL, and database optimization.
Experience with microservices architecture and familiarity with API design principles and RESTful services.
Understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, collaboration, and communication skills.
Preferred qualifications include an advanced Computer Science degree, AWS or GCP experience or certification, Docker, Apache Kafka, caching and performance optimization, performance testing and profiling tools, and machine learning concepts or frameworks.
