Responsibilities

Develop novel machine learning algorithms for battery systems.
Create control strategies using control theory, model predictive control, Kalman filters, and optimization.
Implement algorithms on-device for battery systems.
Apply mathematical modeling to nonlinear dynamical systems and real-time optimization.

Requirements

Experience with machine learning methods including RNNs, LSTMs, and Transformers.
Experience with control theory and optimization, including MPC, Kalman filters, and convex or nonconvex optimization.
Experience with MATLAB and Simulink.
Preferred: PhD and 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
Preferred: experience with nonlinear dynamical-system modeling, embedded C/C++, Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, physics-informed neural networks, hybrid physics/ML approaches, MPC implementation, and real-time optimization.
