Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain an open-source LLVM-based compiler project for modern C++ applications.
  • Contribute to a complex software stack for heterogeneous computing.
  • Investigate and resolve issues reported by the open-source community.
  • Improve existing components and develop new compiler functionality.
  • Identify root causes of complex technical problems and deliver robust, production-quality solutions to the upstream codebase.
  • Work effectively with large existing codebases and collaborate with international teams.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of hands-on commercial software development experience with C++.
  • Strong expertise in modern C++ 17 or later.
  • Good understanding of algorithms and data structures.
  • Experience developing software on Linux and/or Windows.
  • Practical debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Git, CMake, and GitHub Workflows.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Polish.
  • A proactive, ownership-oriented approach to identifying problems and driving solutions to completion.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and work across different areas of the software stack.
  • Preferred experience includes LLVM or compiler development, SYCL, CUDA, HIP, OpenCL, heterogeneous computing, compiler architecture, toolchains, programming language implementation, multithreaded or concurrent programming, low-level or system programming, and open-source contributions.
