Camera Embedded Software Engineer in USA

Responsibilities

  • Develop core camera and image signal processing pipeline technologies for Apple products.
  • Build and maintain multithreaded embedded software within an embedded RTOS environment.
  • Collaborate with silicon design, QA, machine learning algorithm, and other cross-functional teams.
  • Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate software development, debugging, and testing.
  • Work on hardware bring-up, drivers, firmware, memory management, optimization, and embedded-system performance tuning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree and a minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Proficiency in C and C++.
  • Proficiency developing multithreaded software for embedded RTOS systems.
  • Hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools, such as coding assistants and agentic AI tools.
  • Passion for embedded software development.
  • Familiarity with camera pipelines and video processing.
  • Familiarity with SoC and hardware-layer concepts, including bring-up, hardware drivers, and firmware development.
  • Familiarity with memory management, optimization, and performance tuning in embedded systems.
