Responsibilities

Develop and maintain cloud service delivery models and architectural frameworks for PaaS, IaaS, SaaS, and DaaS solutions.
Automate cloud resources using infrastructure as code and DevSecOps practices.
Assess application cloud readiness and recommend migration, refactoring, and deployment strategies.
Evaluate public, private, hybrid, cloud-agnostic, and on-premises deployment options.
Design and implement failure recovery, business continuity, disaster recovery, high availability, and resilient cloud architectures.
Drive cloud cost optimization through right-sizing, licensing analysis, usage monitoring, and benefit analysis.
Design, develop, and implement cloud-native applications and migrate on-premises applications to cloud platforms.
Debug and troubleshoot cloud stacks and services across multiple environments.
Create and maintain documentation for cloud architecture, configurations, and processes.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or another related analytical, scientific, or technical discipline.
At least 4 years of experience with major cloud service providers such as Amazon, Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, or Google.
Experience with development and deployment on private or public cloud solutions or comparable high-availability environments.
Experience deploying and managing infrastructure as code using Terraform, CloudFormation, and/or Azure ARM templates.
Experience implementing and maintaining cloud security best practices.
Active Top Secret clearance.
Ability to work full-time on-site at the customer location in Washington, DC.
Preferred experience with cloud-native applications, microservices, containers, and serverless architectures.
Preferred familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, cloud monitoring and logging tools, cost management, and FinOps practices.
Relevant cloud certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, or Google Professional Cloud Architect are preferred.

Salary: $65k - $162k/yr
