Responsibilities

  • Translate business needs into technical solutions and implement the required outcomes.
  • Design, develop, and operate scalable, high-performance backend services for advertiser campaign management and reporting.
  • Build secure RESTful, GraphQL, and gRPC APIs and integrate multiple advertising-platform components.
  • Collaborate with frontend engineers, product managers, data analysts, UX designers, and other cross-functional partners.
  • Investigate complex system issues, address root causes proactively, and improve operational excellence, scalability, reliability, and resource efficiency.
  • Research new technologies and industry trends and define requirements, processes, and procedures for development, improvement, and testing projects.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of software development experience with a deep understanding of algorithms, data structures, and design patterns.
  • Deep understanding of web-based software architecture, distributed systems, and message-based architectures.
  • Expertise designing and developing RESTful, GraphQL, and gRPC APIs and microservice architectures.
  • Experience with database systems, data warehousing concepts, and SQL or NoSQL.
  • Experience operating large-scale systems with fault tolerance and monitoring.
  • Strong problem-solving, debugging, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Preferred experience in advertising or e-commerce domains.
  • Preferred experience with big data and/or machine learning.
  • Preferred experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud; Docker or Kubernetes; and Spring, Java, Kotlin, Node.js, Kafka, Redis, Hive, Hadoop, Spark, or Elasticsearch.
  • Experience leading a software development team and experience with Agile software development are preferred.
