Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement regression, functional, data validation, system integration, load, performance, exploratory, and user acceptance testing.
  • Create and automate test cases, scripts, and environments for repeatable testing.
  • Collaborate with developers, business partners, end users, and QA engineers on testing strategies and quality practices.
  • Document and analyze test results, manage defects and test case databases, reproduce issues, and verify fixes.
  • Enhance and maintain the test automation framework and identify ways to reduce testing time and effort.
  • Research and implement testing technologies and approaches, including model-based testing, record-and-replay, and machine learning applications.
  • Champion quality and testing best practices across development teams.

Requirements

  • Experience with Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, Cypress, or similar test automation frameworks.
  • Exposure to API testing tools such as Postman or Swagger.
  • Experience with SQL and database validation testing.
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
  • Understanding of cloud-hosted applications in Azure or AWS environments.
  • Familiarity with performance and load testing tools such as JMeter or k6.
  • Experience testing microservices and API-driven architectures.
  • Knowledge of insurance, financial services, or other regulated industries.
