Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain reusable frameworks, libraries, APIs, and reference implementations for zero trust authentication and authorization.
  • Create developer guides, documentation, and integration best practices for security services.
  • Implement fine-grained authorization patterns including entitlements, row-level security, and ABAC.
  • Collaborate with architects and engineers to meet performance, usability, and compliance requirements.
  • Conduct code reviews and advise development teams on secure coding and integration practices.
  • Research zero trust and identity/access management technologies and recommend improvements.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience in software engineering, security engineering, or related roles.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Active TS/SCI with CI Poly clearance.
  • Strong experience designing, developing, and deploying application components using AWS cloud services in IL6+ classified environments.
  • Expert experience with authentication and authorization frameworks including OAuth 2.0, OIDC, or SAML.
  • Experience with identity and access management platforms such as ForgeRock, Okta, Keycloak, or Ping Identity.
  • Strong expertise with fine-grained access control models including entitlements, row-level security, and ABAC.
  • Expert proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Go, or Python.
  • Experience with zero trust architecture, secure coding, software development lifecycle security, and developer documentation.
  • Ability to work onsite five days per week for the duration of the role.

Salary: $166k - $202k/yr
