Responsibilities

Build, maintain, and improve Alan’s shared data platform and core data infrastructure.
Develop and operate production data pipelines using orchestration, cloud data warehouses, and infrastructure as code.
Design systems, tools, and libraries used by engineers, scientists, and analysts.
Improve the developer experience for building and maintaining data pipelines.
Enable reliable and secure access to the data warehouse for Alan employees and AI agents.
Strengthen security, data quality, governance, and standardized data practices across data assets.
Partner with technical and non-technical stakeholders across Alan to understand needs and build trusted data solutions.
Evolve data infrastructure to support international expansion and growing product breadth.

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience demonstrating impact in data-related positions.
Experience building and operating production data infrastructure, including orchestration, cloud data warehouses, and infrastructure as code.
Experience designing systems, tools, or libraries used by engineers, scientists, or analysts.
Proficiency in Python and SQL.
Interest in using AI thoughtfully to increase impact.
Strong listening, communication, collaboration, and continuous-learning skills.
Fluent spoken and written English; French is not required.
