Responsibilities

  • Build and deploy data engineering pipelines and platforms that organize disparate data.
  • Assess, design, develop, and maintain scalable platforms for clients.
  • Perform ETL operations and develop large-scale batch and stream analytics pipelines.
  • Deploy analytics workloads and support automation, scripting, and database activities.
  • Collaborate with analysts, data engineers, developers, data scientists, infrastructure engineers, customer success managers, and data consumers.
  • Develop and present complex technical information to technical and non-technical audiences and senior leaders.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in data engineering, pipeline development, data science, data analytics, machine learning, or software engineering.
  • Experience with ETL operations and source control or collaboration software, including Git or Atlassian tools.
  • Experience writing software in programming languages including Python.
  • Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases, including SQL or GraphQL.
  • Knowledge of automation and scripting on Linux or Windows.
  • Secret clearance and eligibility for access to classified information.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Preferred experience includes AWS EMR, Redshift, SageMaker, Databricks, SQL Data Warehouse, Apache Spark, NVIDIA CUDA, Terraform, CloudFormation, and large-scale analytics pipelines.
  • Preferred qualifications include DoD information systems experience, a relevant master’s degree, AWS Solutions Architect or Azure certification, and Security+ or CISSP certification.

Salary: $62k - $141k/yr
