Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain on-sensor Go and Python services, including daemons, configuration managers, upgrade pipelines, and tunneling infrastructure.
  • Own AWS sensor-management infrastructure, including ECS services, CloudFormation stacks, EC2 instances, S3 artifact pipelines, and CloudWatch observability.
  • Improve CI/CD systems using Jenkins, Docker build environments, and Robot Framework tests for virtual sensors.
  • Debug kernel networking, virtualization, provisioning, and production incidents through CloudWatch logs and code analysis.
  • Contribute to sensor deployment and upgrade automation using Ansible, Debian packaging, and manifest-driven rollouts.
  • Work across sensor kernel components and AWS services that provide APIs to the portal.

Requirements

  • Require 3–5 years of professional software development experience.
  • Require hands-on AWS experience with EC2, ECS, Fargate, S3, CloudWatch, CloudFormation or CDK, and IAM.
  • Require proficiency in Python for production services, CLI tooling, and test automation.
  • Require Linux systems programming knowledge, including systemd, iptables, networking, Debian packaging, and shell scripting.
  • Require experience with CI/CD pipelines and Docker-based build environments.
  • Require strong production debugging skills and the ability to trace issues from logs to code root causes.
  • Prefer experience with Ansible, VLANs, SPAN/TAP modes, DHCP, FRP, WireGuard, eBPF/XDP, Suricata, nmap, packet capture, VMware, Hyper-V, Azure, or embedded Linux.
