Responsibilities

Own infrastructure initiatives from design through implementation and production rollout.
Build and operate reliable on-premise infrastructure, including environments without internet access.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with security scanning, SBOM generation, and release management.
Manage container orchestration and workload scheduling across lab platforms.
Operate secrets management, service discovery, object storage, and database services.
Build and support infrastructure for ML and AI workloads, including model training, evaluation, serving, and GPU resources.
Automate provisioning and configuration using infrastructure-as-code.
Drive observability, monitoring, and alerting, and troubleshoot application, infrastructure, networking, and operating-system issues.
Partner with researchers and engineers to translate complex requirements into robust, maintainable systems.

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, SRE, or infrastructure roles.
Strong Linux and networking fundamentals.
Hands-on experience with Docker and at least one of Docker Swarm, Nomad, or Kubernetes.
Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, such as GitLab CI.
Proficiency in Python, Bash, or Go scripting or programming.
Experience with infrastructure-as-code and configuration management, such as Ansible or Terraform.
Experience operating production services including databases, monitoring systems, and incident troubleshooting.
Strong ownership, independence, and communication skills.
B.Sc. in Computer Science or Engineering.
Preferred qualifications include HashiCorp stack experience, MLOps or AI infrastructure experience, security or DevSecOps background, on-premise infrastructure experience, research-oriented R&D experience, interest in AI security, and familiarity with Rust or Kotlin build ecosystems.
