Responsibilities

  • Create and refine GitLab CI/CD pipelines for cross-compiled and embedded builds.
  • Automate build, test, and deployment processes across on-premises edge hardware and GCP.
  • Apply DevSecOps principles to secure and trace software delivery for edge computing.
  • Manage artifact lifecycles and multi-architecture containerization using OCI and Docker.
  • Develop and maintain build and deployment scripts.
  • Integrate and test microcontrollers, sensor boards, autopilot hardware, firmware, and electronics systems.
  • Build secure links between on-premises infrastructure and GCP.
  • Integrate on-premises identity providers with GCP IAM and implement Zero Trust principles.
  • Orchestrate cloud workload transitions to on-premises infrastructure and optimize egress costs and latency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Software Engineering or equivalent professional background.
  • 2–5 years of experience in EdgeOps, DevSecOps, or DevOps.
  • Proficiency with GitLab CI/CD and Docker.
  • Strong understanding of DevSecOps, EdgeOps, and DevOps principles.
  • Expertise with Git and Git Flow.
  • Scripting skills in Python and Bash.
  • Linux expertise, including Debian and Ubuntu, plus ARM64 cross-compilation experience.
  • Knowledge of GitLab Runners or comparable tools.
  • Preferred: experience with cloud platforms and GCP services such as GCE, Cloud Build, and Artifact Registry.
  • Preferred: hands-on knowledge of embedded hardware such as NVIDIA Jetson or Raspberry Pi and integration with MCU firmware.
  • Clear technical communication, a solution-oriented approach, and a team-first mentality.
