DevOps Engineer in Remote

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the availability, reliability, scalability, and security of the SaaS platform across environments.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for fast, safe, and self-service build, test, and release processes.
  • Use Infrastructure as Code to automate infrastructure provisioning and management.
  • Implement and improve observability tooling for metrics, logs, and traces.
  • Monitor platform capacity and performance and proactively forecast resource needs.
  • Investigate and resolve production incidents and contribute to root cause analysis and preventive follow-up.
  • Support engineering squads in integrating services with the platform infrastructure.
  • Use AI tools to accelerate automation scripting and infrastructure work while validating generated output.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience as a DevOps or SRE Engineer.
  • Strong understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and Configuration Management.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or ELK.
  • Scripting proficiency in Python, Bash, or Go.
  • Clear written communication and reliable asynchronous collaboration in a remote environment.
  • Preferred: familiarity with AI tools for infrastructure automation and disciplined validation workflows.
  • Preferred: experience with Terraform or comparable infrastructure automation tools.
  • Preferred: experience working on a SaaS platform or public software product.
  • Preferred: understanding of security best practices in a DevOps environment.
