Responsibilities

Create and maintain environment-specific Kubernetes configuration packages using Helm values files and YAML manifests.
Implement STIG-aligned hardening and RBAC policy enforcement across IL environments.
Manage secrets injection strategies using AWS Secrets Manager and Azure Key Vault.
Integrate CI/CD pipelines for secure automated deployment and rollback of ArcGIS components and related services.
Coordinate with Kubernetes, data layer, and infrastructure teams on version control, pipeline integrity, integration testing, and cloud resource planning.
Provide container and workload specifications, implement cloud resource tagging, reconcile usage estimates, and support workload scaling and cost optimization.
Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters, automate cloud infrastructure, and maintain secure, highly available CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or five years of equivalent DevOps engineering experience.
Knowledge of designing, implementing, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines and automating infrastructure management across cloud and on-premises environments.
Proficiency with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Ansible, and continuous integration tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or AWS CodePipeline.
Strong understanding of AWS, Azure, GCP, security best practices, and monitoring and logging solutions including Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack.
Experience with Kubernetes cluster deployment and management, cloud infrastructure automation, secure high-availability CI/CD pipelines, microservices architecture, service mesh technologies, and observability tools.
Preferred certifications include Certified Kubernetes Administrator, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional, and Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert.
