Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain high-scale production cloud infrastructure for availability, performance, and resilience.
  • Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code practices for consistent and efficient deployments.
  • Use Linux and networking expertise to improve system performance, security, and reliability.
  • Translate business requirements into effective cloud solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud infrastructure and service issues affecting millions of users.
  • Develop and operate services and tools that improve production resilience and developer velocity.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience working on live production systems.
  • Proficiency in Linux and networking fundamentals.
  • Strong understanding of Kubernetes fundamentals and internals, including hands-on cluster administration.
  • Strong understanding of AWS fundamentals, including IAM, networking, and managed services.
  • Knowledge of provisioning and configuration management tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi, or Chef.
  • Experience with Python and Bash scripting.
  • Experience with monitoring tools including Prometheus and Grafana.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
