DevOps Platforms Engineer in UK new

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and operate cloud-based platforms and solutions for enterprise clients.
  • Apply cloud architecture, Infrastructure as Code, automation, and Kubernetes to build scalable, reliable, and secure platforms.
  • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab, or similar tools.
  • Automate complex solutions using scripting or programming languages.
  • Design robust monitoring and advanced alerting using Prometheus, Grafana, or Azure Monitor.
  • Implement log aggregation and observability using ELK or EFK stacks in Kubernetes environments.
  • Collaborate with teams, plan and organize work, and clearly report progress and issues.
  • Travel within the UK for project work.

Requirements

  • Effective communication, collaboration, planning, reporting, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of identity and access management, cloud networking, and cloud security best practices in Azure or AWS.
  • Experience implementing and managing Infrastructure as Code in enterprise environments.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration using Kubernetes.
  • Experience designing and implementing pipelines with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab, or similar CI/CD tools.
  • Ability to automate complex solutions using scripting or programming languages.
  • Ability to design monitoring, alerting, log aggregation, and observability solutions.
  • Willingness to undertake UK-based project travel.
  • Right to work in the UK and ability to achieve UK Security Clearance.
  • Experience with disaster recovery and high-availability solutions, multi-cloud or hybrid cloud architectures, and cloud cost optimization is desirable.
  • Relevant Azure, AWS, or Certified Kubernetes Administrator certifications are desirable.
