Digital Success Engineer in USA

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain automation, tooling, integrations, agentic workflows, and in-app guidance for digital customer success.
  • Translate strategy and requirements into scoped, tested, shipped, and maintainable technology.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, version, and improve digital-success tooling in production.
  • Implement targeting and personalization logic using adoption, health, and usage signals.
  • Apply AI-assisted development, agent and prompt engineering, version control, and MCP connector workflows.
  • Evaluate AI-generated outputs and build human-review and safety guardrails for automated customer communication.
  • Partner with analytics and data teams on the data, definitions, and pipelines supporting the tooling.
  • Document and package solutions for reuse, maintenance, and handoff.
  • Evaluate emerging AI tools, models, and platforms and recommend useful adoption.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience in a technical build role such as software or automation engineering, solutions or integration engineering, or analytics engineering.
  • Hands-on experience building and maintaining automation and integrations using APIs, data connectors, and scripting or low-code automation.
  • Experience turning defined requirements and priorities into working, tested technology.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted development, agent or prompt engineering, or connector-based MCP workflows is preferred.
  • Comfort with version control and modern software and data-stack practices.
  • Working knowledge of customer-success or customer-engagement data and metrics is preferred.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across strategy, data, and customer success teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical, quantitative, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Relevant development, automation, or data-platform certifications are preferred.

Salary: $100k - $140k/yr
