Responsibilities

Lead enterprise-wide AI and engineering transformation initiatives.
Drive adoption of AI-powered product capabilities, AI building blocks, orchestration infrastructure, and platform services.
Guide application architecture, design patterns, and engineering practices for scalable AI adoption.
Identify and deliver customer scenarios using AI for automation, insights, and workflow acceleration.
Transform the engineering lifecycle through AI-assisted development practices and modern engineering methods.
Improve engineering productivity, quality, and delivery efficiency using AI.
Define long-term AI and engineering transformation strategy and influence technical investment priorities.
Provide hands-on technical guidance, architectural leadership, mentorship, stakeholder alignment, and execution across organizational boundaries.
Represent Acumatica with customers, partners, analysts, and at industry events and conferences.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
15+ years of software engineering experience, including significant experience leading large-scale technical initiatives in SaaS or cloud-based enterprise software environments.
Proven experience delivering and productizing AI/ML capabilities in enterprise applications.
Strong enterprise application architecture experience balancing innovation, scalability, quality, reliability, and maintainability.
Experience driving engineering transformation initiatives and AI-assisted engineering workflows.
Ability to influence across organizations, align senior stakeholders, and lead complex initiatives without direct authority.
Deep technical credibility with strategic perspective and the ability to remain hands-on when needed.
Strong communication and collaboration skills across engineering, product, and executive stakeholders.
Advanced degree such as an MS or PhD is a plus.
Experience in fast-moving product organizations is a plus.
Experience with partnerships, acquisitions, or ecosystem strategy in AI/ML is a plus.

Salary: $240k - $275k/yr
