Responsibilities

Develop the overall content architecture and evolve documentation as Modal introduces products and features.
Create novel documentation formats and delivery channels to improve agent productivity in collaboration with the Agent DX research team.
Develop content standards, style guides, and automated enforcement mechanisms for consistent, high-quality documentation.
Build and maintain automated pipelines that verify code examples and prose descriptions.
Collaborate with engineers across the company to author clear, consistent, and correct documentation.

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience in an engineering, product, or developer relations role, ideally in developer tools or infrastructure.
Experience authoring or editing high-quality technical content for developers.
Knowledge of agentic engineering workflows and best practices.
Comfort with modern software development practices, including version control, CI/CD, and testing.

Salary: $200 - $275/yr
