Responsibilities

Collaborate with developers, cross-functional project teams, and project management to develop and maintain products.
Develop and maintain software components for current and future products.
Fix bugs in current products.
Implement high-quality software features on schedule.
Integrate, maintain, and improve third-party and proprietary code.
Contribute to the design and implementation of software systems, frameworks, and new features.
Communicate effectively in written and verbal form.

Requirements

0–2 years of software development experience, including internships, co-ops, academic projects, relevant coursework, or professional experience.
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering; a master’s degree is a plus.
Experience with C/C++ and Unix/Linux through coursework, projects, internships, or professional experience.
Familiarity with REST API semantics and their use in networking appliances.
Familiarity with JSON data objects and their creation and parsing.
Familiarity with multi-process and multithreaded programming using POSIX and system programming concepts.
Understanding of TCP/IP networking, switching, routing, and network management principles.
Knowledge of general QA procedures, methodologies, and software development fundamentals.
Experience with libcurl, embedded systems, networking principles, or firewall configuration and operation is a plus.

Full-time position with a US base salary range of $92,300–$153,900.
