EDA Cloud & Developer Infrastructure Engineer in USA new

Responsibilities

  • Build developer tools, services, APIs, and workflows that automate hardware engineering processes and improve productivity.
  • Design, implement, and operate large-scale regression systems covering scheduling, execution, results collection, triage, and reporting.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure, developer tooling, and cluster configurations.
  • Design, provision, and operate cloud infrastructure and HPC clusters while optimizing scheduling, capacity, reliability, and cost.
  • Develop data pipelines, databases, monitoring, alerting, and observability systems for regression results and infrastructure health.
  • Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues, automate recovery, and improve platform resilience and operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with RTL, verification, physical design, emulation, formal verification, and systems software engineers.

Requirements

  • Strong software engineering fundamentals and proficiency with Python or a similar programming language.
  • Deep expertise in at least one infrastructure domain, including Linux/HPC, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, storage, networking, or EDA development workflows.
  • Experience designing, deploying, and operating cloud infrastructure, preferably Azure, with infrastructure-as-code experience using Terraform or Bicep.
  • Strong Linux systems knowledge covering processes, filesystems, networking, permissions, performance troubleshooting, and system administration.
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Buildkite, GitHub Actions, or similar platforms.
  • Ability to debug distributed infrastructure problems, identify root causes, and implement durable solutions.
  • Experience owning systems from design and implementation through deployment, monitoring, and ongoing operations.
  • Strong technical judgment, communication, collaboration, and interest in hardware development workflows.
  • Experience with ASIC or semiconductor development environments, EDA workflows, design verification, physical design, emulation, or formal verification is a bonus.
  • Experience operating HPC clusters or schedulers such as Slurm is a bonus.
  • Familiarity with compute farms, regression frameworks, build systems, hardware toolchains, enterprise identity systems, relational databases, distributed systems, high-performance storage, or EDA license servers is a bonus.

Salary: $287k - $485k/yr
