Responsibilities

Develop embedded software features for next-generation Annapurna Labs networking hardware.
Enable high network bandwidth and packets-per-second performance with consistently low latency.
Bring up a broad selection of instance types optimized for different CPU, memory, storage, and networking configurations.
Contribute to architecture definitions and software system designs.
Resolve complex customer issues, monitor AWS cloud health, maintain quality standards, and develop highly optimized code.
Develop support for networking frameworks and communication libraries used by EC2 distributed AI/ML systems.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
At least 2 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
Strong C/C++ skills.
Preferred experience with embedded software development and Linux environments.
Preferred hands-on experience with hardware/software interfaces at the board and chip level.
Preferred understanding of computer architecture.
Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment and learn quickly.
