Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain test cases, test plans, and test strategy documents.
  • Perform manual, functional, end-to-end, regression, smoke, and web services testing.
  • Develop and implement quality control systems and conduct software quality analysis.
  • Create defect reports, track issues to resolution, and provide timely test-result updates to management.
  • Drive test automation initiatives using scripting languages, automation frameworks, and testing tools.
  • Gather and understand requirements, identify gaps and testing impediments, and forecast high-risk software areas.
  • Collaborate with development, business, and cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and communicate impacts.
  • Follow formal QA processes, software test design techniques, and applicable standards.
  • Use people-management and conflict-resolution skills to increase productivity, hire talent, and support team development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience.
  • Four to six years of software testing experience.
  • Strong QA background in manual and functional testing.
  • Expertise in scripting languages and logical implementations.
  • Hands-on experience with test automation, frameworks, and tools.
  • Knowledge of SQL and Oracle queries.
  • Experience preparing test plans and strategy documents, writing test cases, and gathering requirements.
  • Experience with web services testing and formal software test design techniques.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Exposure to security and performance testing is preferred.
  • Ability to establish collaborative relationships, identify testing challenges, and drive issue resolution.
