Responsibilities

Understand project goals and requirements, identifying omissions, gaps, testing challenges, and impediments.
Develop and maintain test cases, test plans, and test strategy documents.
Perform manual, functional, end-to-end, regression, smoke, and web services testing.
Drive automation initiatives using scripting, automation frameworks, and testing tools.
Create defect reports, track defects to resolution, and report test results to management.
Identify high-risk software areas, anticipate issues, and drive resolution.
Collaborate with development, business, and other teams throughout project test phases.
Communicate problem impacts, business requirements, and timely test status updates.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience.
Four to six years of software testing experience.
Strong QA background in manual and functional testing.
Expertise in scripting languages, logical implementations, automation, frameworks, and testing tools.
Knowledge of SQL and Oracle queries.
Experience preparing test plans and strategy documents, gathering requirements, writing test cases, and testing web services.
Understanding of formal software test design techniques and QA processes and standards.
Strong verbal and written communication, analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage conflicts, increase productivity, hire and grow talent, and work with cross-functional teams.
Exposure to security and performance testing is preferred.
