Responsibilities

  • Write software test case specifications and manage test cases.
  • Script test cases according to defined test specifications.
  • Execute software tests and report results.
  • Create test strategies for embedded software.
  • Guide and coach the testing team.
  • Adhere to software quality processes and testing life-cycle practices.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in embedded software testing using LabVIEW and NI TestStand.
  • B.E., B.Tech., M.Tech., or master's degree in electronics, telecommunications, or computer science, or equivalent qualification.
  • Certified LabVIEW Associate Developer certification is required.
  • Certified LabVIEW Developer certification is preferred.
  • Knowledge of LabVIEW, LabVIEW Real-Time, basic FPGA, NI TestStand, CAN communication, UDS, KWP2000, CANopen, and J1939.
  • Knowledge of test specification management, change management, version control, traceability management, software architecture and design, and software testing life-cycle practices.
  • Basic Python programming knowledge and excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
  • Knowledge of functional safety life-cycle management and standards including IEC-61508, ISO-26262, ISO-25119, and ISO-13849 is optional.
