Responsibilities

Build and ship features across frontend applications, real-time systems, and backend infrastructure.
Create data pipelines and internal tools for adding sources and maintaining sector coverage.
Improve agent-based parsing and extraction systems for capability and reliability.
Own projects end to end, including data inspection, quality assurance, instrumentation, production releases, and debugging.
Develop a company ontology and an earnings research product.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience building, shipping, and operating production systems, with up to approximately 7 years of professional experience.
Hands-on experience building and deploying agentic AI systems or LLM-based applications in production, including recent AI project work.
Full-stack experience with Python backend development, FastAPI or an equivalent framework, data pipelines, TypeScript, and React.
Experience with ETL, data modeling, SQL, relational database design and optimization, and PostgreSQL or similar systems.
Experience with AWS, real-time data systems, observability, monitoring, and debugging distributed systems.
Strong ownership, sound judgment about when to use AI agents versus deterministic systems, and willingness to work across unfamiliar technologies.
Financial research, capital markets, investment banking, or broader financial services experience is helpful.
Familiarity with modern data tools, edge infrastructure, or AI/ML tooling is a plus.
Must be a U.S. citizen and able to work on-site in New York City; full-time commitment is required.

Benefits

Base salary of $156,000 to $182,000 annually.
On-site in New York City five days per week.
Full-time position.
Visa sponsorship is not available.
