Responsibilities

Build and maintain a consumer membership web application using Shopify and Recharge.
Improve storefront speed and application performance, including bundle size and third-party scripts.
Manage tracking, consent tools, and data handling to support privacy compliance.
Make architecture, database, security, technology, and vendor decisions.
Lead development of a consumer-facing React Native application with an iOS-first focus.
Build and operate LLM-powered agents and internal tools with monitoring, evaluations, and appropriate human oversight.
Create scripts, automations, and workflows to reduce manual work across the business.
Work directly with leadership on high-priority product and infrastructure needs.

Requirements

At least 5 years of full-stack engineering experience, including shipping consumer products to production.
Strong proficiency in TypeScript and React, with production experience using Python or Node.js.
Hands-on experience with Shopify and Recharge and a record of optimizing web application performance.
Experience building consumer-facing React Native applications, preferably with an iOS-first approach.
Knowledge of architectural and security decisions, privacy compliance, and consent management.
Experience with AI tools or production automation is valuable, especially LLM agents with monitoring and evaluation practices.
Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience shipping software products.

Benefits

Salary range of $130,000 to $200,000 USD annually.
On-site work in San Francisco, California.
Visa sponsorship is not available.
