Responsibilities

Own end-to-end product development from design through deployment.
Translate product objectives into technical requirements in collaboration with customers.
Design iterative solutions for complex energy procurement and decision-support problems.
Develop performant backend services for data-intensive applications.
Build intuitive frontend interfaces for complex decision-support systems.
Train time-series forecasting models for power consumption and renewable production.
Develop linear optimization algorithms to reduce customer energy costs.
Help select and shape the core technology stack.

Requirements

Strong software engineering fundamentals and experience delivering robust, scalable web applications in a startup environment.
Ability to independently deliver complete product features while working with customers.
Hands-on experience or strong interest in time-series forecasting and/or linear optimization.
Comfort working across backend and frontend domains.
Familiarity with PostgreSQL, TypeScript, React, and Python.
Experience building frontend UIs for complex decision-support systems and backend services for data-intensive applications.
Early-stage startup experience is preferred, and broad technical leadership experience is a plus.
Curiosity about energy markets and data-driven business applications.

Benefits

Salary of EUR 85,000 to EUR 140,000 annually.
Hybrid work arrangement in Munich with onsite presence required for the majority of the week and some remote flexibility.
Visa sponsorship is not available.
Equity and other benefits are not disclosed.
