Founding Product Engineer in Others

Responsibilities

  • Own product features from initial design through deployment while collaborating directly with customers.
  • Build performant backend services for data-intensive applications.
  • Develop intuitive interfaces for complex decision-support workflows.
  • Create time-series forecasting models for power consumption and renewable generation.
  • Develop linear optimization algorithms to reduce customer energy costs.
  • Help shape the core technology stack and solve energy procurement problems iteratively.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of software engineering experience delivering scalable web applications in an early-stage startup environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently deliver full product features in collaboration with customers.
  • Strong software engineering fundamentals and experience building robust, maintainable web applications across frontend and backend.
  • Experience building user interfaces for complex decision-support systems and backend services for data-intensive applications.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL, React, and Python.
  • Experience or strong interest in time-series forecasting, linear optimization, and energy markets is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with TypeScript, FastAPI, or Supabase is welcome.

Benefits

  • Salary range of €85,000 to €140,000 annually.
  • Hybrid role based in Munich, Germany, primarily on-site with occasional remote work.
  • Visa sponsorship is not available.
